Channel Contemporary is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to the creation and presentation of new, interdisciplinary performance. We support artists working across opera, music, theatre, movement, and experimental forms, with an emphasis on process-driven practice, collaboration, and relational and cultural inquiry. Based on California’s Central Coast, we foster creative exchange and create space for artists to explore urgent questions through the development and presentation of new work.
